We have a lot of cardinals, robins, and hawks around. A nest was built on my DGS play fort. He is five and was thrilled to see eggs in the best. It was the first thing he checked every time he went out. Unfortunately, something gotto the eggs. I think it was a hawk. I felt so bad when he came running in to tell e the eggs were gone!! Then this afternoon we were outside and he fou d pieces of the shells. He's convinced the baby birds hatched!

We see a lot birds here as well, but they do not stay on the ground very long. (five cats). I wish I could put up a bird feeder, but I feel like I would be luring them into a kitty trap....
