I would NOT go to this website. I rely on truthorfiction.com for items such as this and in doing a search nothing came up. There is a lot of controversy about this online.

I went to our real FBI site and searched for Internet Blackout and nothing came up. Then I searched Snopes and nothing came up. Personally I won't be going to any internet computer check/scan sites. That's a good way to have bad stuff downloaded to your computer. I think something this big would be on the national news reports too.

There is an article and a link to check your machine right in the FBI website. Go to www.fbi.gov and do a search for DNS Malware. This is not a scam to get into your computer. But, to be safe, use the link to check your PC right from the FBI themselves!
The FBI does not mention this in their SCAM listings because it ISN"T a scam. It is real.

You have to know what to search for within the FBI web site. The term, "internet blackout" will not find the articles on this problem. Please search for DNS malware.

There was an article in our local paper yesterday on this. I would think a large newspaper would have investigated this before printing it. I went to the site on 3 computers and no problems what so ever. Interesting.

The Houston Chronicle also had an article about this in the Sunday paper.
