    We're gnome-less here.

We did have one for a short time - my mom and dad gave it to us for Christmas one year. Never figured that out - they haven't ever had one and we certainly aren't the types for gnomes. Anyhow, it resided in the garage until I thought they might visit so we put it out. It disappeared a few weeks later. No more gnomes for us.

If I had a gnome in my yard one of my beagles would probably eat it. Besides, ever since I saw the 'gnomes' at Ron's house (from Harry Potter) all I can think is that they are nasty little buggers. But, maybe I should let the beagles try it, because one of the beagles (Clio, we are not mentioning any names...) just ate my brand new big spool of sulky thread that I got on sale last week. Hmmm, maybe I should have her shellacked and put -her- in the yard? Mommy is not happy!

I have about 2 dozen gnomes. I set them out in the Spring , in the flower bed by the garage. When I was in Germany 5 years ago . I saw some at a shop , I bought 2 12" ones. They had some that were the size of a 3 year old child. For the life of me , I could not figure out how to get it home.
