My collections include old movie memorabilia (My most prized piece is an original script from "Gone With The Wind" signed by the entire cast along with David Selznick :D ), old cars, vintage and antique sewing machines, vintage sewing thread, automotive memorabilia, anything from the late 1940's and 1950's, and vintage speed equipment.

Blue (cobalt) glassware, pens (not really, but I do seem to have a lot of them) there is a writer inside trying to get out. MOVIES.... currently have 373 on tape and DVD. Guess that's it, no room for anything else.

You know I was like you, my wife and I had all of these movies on DVD and Tapes and I bought a 2TB external Hard Drive and up loaded the entire collection on it and still have room for more. I have my satellite TV running through my computer and use my second HD for a TIVO and if we want to watch a movie then we can pull one off of the external HD and we can watch it.

This might be a viable option if you need the room.

Ok some of the things I collect are clocks, bibles and religous books, books, writing pens, keys, fenton, sea shells, jewelry, anything having to do with sewing (including a thimble collection), some glass insulators and old colored canning jars andbottles, delft pottery and figurines and old pieces of embroideries and some paintings or art work.
You wouldn't know it though, most of it is stored. I hate clutter and dusting.

    children, I collect children

I meet them at the entrance to the school every morning. We make eye contact, smile at each other and exchange a warm hello. Sets them up for a great day. :)

I do this as they come into my room as well and things always run more smoothly when I remember this ritual.

I have collections of fairies, hymnals, mice (not real of course), and teapots. Have collected cookbooks but am getting rid of most of them because my favorite and most-used recipes are now on my pc. What I don't have can be found online with a click of the mouse. I like old kitchen linens (napkins, tea towels and tableclothes). Don't like paper napkins or plastic tablecloths except for picnics.
