Festival items
My grandchildren's school is having a festival in about a month. I have a multitude of fabric, some just small pieces and some 1/2 yards and everything in between. Does anyone have suggestions what I could sew that would appeal to little girls about 5-11 years old. Between their other grandmother and me, we could whip out a multitude of items for their General Store. It doesn’t have to be anything quilted. Just things that little girls would like. Their other grandmother is a whiz at sewing - draperies, costumes, clothes, etc.

Here's a link to a small pouch that could be attached to a backpack or even a key ring. https://so-sew-easy.com/teeny-tiny-mini-zipper-pouch/
Great for little kids' treasures. There are lots free small pouch and bag patterns out there. Just google. Or maybe kids' aprons, library book bags, dolly blankets, cell phone holders, hair scrunchies....just off the top of my head...

If you could make a few reading pillows that would be marvelous. I have made a couple of them for kids and they love them. The major expense is the pillow insert but you could make them too with craft stuffing or tearing apart an old pillow. My daughter teaches 5th grade and her students love the composition books tat are covered with a fun fabric. I made one with Mickey Mouse fabric and they all wanted one. (They keep journals at school so they like to keep one of their own.)
