Fiji matts for inspiration.
DH and I just got back from New Zealand and Fiji. We visited a Fiji meeting house and I took pics of the woven matt walls for inspiration.

Other than the mats, can you imagine having those tongue-sticking-out figures staring at you all day?!! Yuck!
Interesting inspiration, though, on the mats.

I recognized two quilt patterns that were in magazines. One is called Regular Joe in American Patchwork & Quilting June 2014. Someone beat you to it. I was in a large church several years ago that was only open to the public for a limited time. Wish I had been allowed to take a picture of the beautiful flooring because I also saw a quilting pattern in the making.
