So happy for you! Congratulations. I love to read and I love to quilt and when the two are combined I am on cloud 9. THANKS for writing this kind of book.

I thought I'd wait until after the Saturday ceremony to see if I earn a Winner sticker. No point in doing it twice since I learned about my Finalist status late in the judging process.

For those who said they want a book, it's on Amazon, B&N, or Smashwords in all eBook formats. Go to my website for a paperback. The link for my website is in my signature line.

The ability to create a lovely quilt design is similar to writing a book. We take tiny bits of fabric or a tidbit of an idea and piece them into an artistic design. I'm not a great quilter--don't consider myself a great writer. I'm humbled by your generous words. Thanks to all of you who sent congratulations. I will let you know the final outcome.

Hey, Lisa!! My ever loyal support system in Statesville is still hard at work. Thanks for all you've done.

I'll come there for a book signing again one day. Know you'll be around to spread the word. We had fun that day at The Needle and Thread. Can't believe you uploaded that pic. We're a great looking bunch.
