Finished moms table runner 15+ years old

Thats a "Yes it is!" usually she left the easy part. It took a total of about an hour to finish. Makes me feel like I accomplished something...with little work!

Oh how I wish she would. I've tried to get her back in the sewing room, she's only 64. She used the excuse that her machine wasn't working for awhile, now she says she just don't have the patience. Jigsaw puzzles have taken its place. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with puzzles but she does one every day, 1000 pieces, everyday! that would bore me to tears! I've even tried to get her drawing again, she's a wonderful artist. So I asked her if she could draw me a few things for applique, a bird and simple stuff. Well I never got them she kept "forgetting". Oh well its fun finishing some of her old projects. I've got a bigger one to finish sometime this year. Its crossed stitched blocks for a queen size bed. They are in golds browns and greens....tells you how old they are just by the colors. I finally pryed them out of her grips a few weeks ago. Its next on the mommy to-do list.
