We're praying you will be safe, and that God will soon send so much needed rain to this parched area of our country. It's very, very dry here. Had possibility of rain in the forecast for this weekend, but now they're removed it.

Fires are contained and working on eliminating hot spots :) As of tonight there have been no new outbreaks in my area although other cities have had some fires but I those are under control.

So far two of my friends homes/property have been damaged. One of those friends is currently fighting the fire on their property.
It is also possible that the fire can come out to my area. It has been burning for more than 24 hours.
I am going to get my machines and quilts that I'm working on together as well as important papers, and my kitties together and easily to grab if we have to evacuate.

I have a migraine from the smoke in the air and I've been inside all day.

Pray for Rain and the end of this fire.

I know they were making a big deal out of OKC being 60 days over 100... what about the other towns that still had 100+ temps when we were down in the 90's....
Hopefully this weekend will cool down all over the state...
Predictions of 70's :D
Praying for rain.... we so need it...

I hope you are OK. We get smoke from fires in the Okefenokes and other swamps. Some have been burning for months about 25 or 30 Miles from here.

You've got it. Those wild fires can be so frightening to live through. I will certainly be praying for those in the path.
