And Illinois usually has some huge snow storms, too. We used to live in Des Plaines and I remember one in particular. We walked to Krogers to get milk, bread, etc. and they gave everyone free coffee and donuts that could make it. Milk was only for those who had wee ones at home. Snow mounds were up to the gazoo. :lol: Dodee

Here in western NC, we have a little snow this morning here. Lovely to look at, but I'm sure it won't last long. More of a medium dusting, still spitting a little. We are in a wooded area, in the country, so we have the snow on the ground, out in the open areas, there is none. Even our deck has some on it, nice! Cold & windy outside, 32' last time I checked, so good day to be inside & warm!

74 yesterday morning, 40 this morning at the same time of day.....tonight they are calling for mid 20's. My winter garden is loving it. cabbage and broccoli are heading.
