    What bugs me is that the flannel to make the pjs has to be flame retardant, but the sheets that cover the bed and the blankets or quilts are not.

    Dear Sadie Mae,
    I often tell my grandaughter what we used to do and do without and she thinks it is very lucky that I am still alive. Imagine, no seat belts, no recalls, no bottles of water, hardly any fast food, and the list goes on and on. But we sure did quilt, sew, and bake. It is still a good life. Oh yes, we did sleep in flannel pjs. It is cold in Michigan for more than a few months a year.
