No shot for me. Plenty of water, sleep (I think I recall what that is) and a glass of wine before bed if I feel like I am being attacked by those nasty bugs.

I get my flu shot. I use the lemon relief for stuffy head cold. If I get bronchitus (haven't since getting my shot) I use Benylin with codeine. For the tummy trouble, I usually just let it run it's course or sometimes I take the Pepto tablets if needed.

Get the flu shot every year due to asthma. Haven't had the flu since a junior in high school - started shots as a senior - except for the year that H1N1 first reared its ugly head. Shot wasn't available in my area until about 2 weeks after H1N1 peaked and of course I got it. Since I'm at high risk for complications, I didn't mess around and was at the urgent care place within 3 hours of symptoms starting. Was given tamiflu.

i've had a flu shot every year since 1980--and i don't get the flu.
my hubby who refuses to get a flu shot winds up taking stuff like theraflu when it puts him down....or comtrex flu...i think that's the name of it- i don't pay much attention to it-because i get my shot and avoid the whole situation. the 98 year old gentleman i take care of gets his every year too- and does not get the flu either.

I used to get the flu. Then I asked our elderly neighbor why he never had the flu. He said if he thought he was coming down with a cold he just always ate onion sandwiches. He fried the onion and ate it with toasted bread.

Then a friend of mine said to take a few drops of Elderberry every day - more for sniffles. I haven't missed any work for sick in 4 years. I don't eat much sweet stuff.

I have already had my flu shot. My company provides it for all employees and dependents.
