Me, too. I think it seems to help. At least I don't seem to get most of what's coming in the door. PTL.

Had my flu shot last week. If I get the flu I lay around and wish I had gotten my flu shot earlier and take analgesics for the aches and fever. :hunf: :hunf: :hunf: :hunf:

Also, keep your hands away from your face. I have a nurse friend that never gets sick, and she says this is why. We are constantly wiping down keyboards and phone receivers with alcohol swabs, too.

This was also my husband's experience. The shots used to be live virus. They are not the same, now.

I feel really good if I don't get a flu shot. I take Oscillococcinum. It helps with colds and flu symptoms- knocks it right out naturally. I have a naturopathic doc. We took elderberry syrup last year when we got colds and a concoction that our doc. makes up.

I get flu shots every year, now for about the last 10 years. If I feel a cold coming on I take zinc tablets, sometimes they just make it worse. No nasty side effects from the shot.

I get the flu shot. I'm susceptible to pneumonia so my drs have always told me to get it every year. The one year I didn't get the shot, I got the flu. I got tamiflu so that it would be less likely to develop into pneumonia but the tamiflu made me sicker than the flu.
