Not much as I could see she was breathing heavy. I had the laptop in my bedroom reading a book and watching her. I think now it was just the heat but you never know. I slept a bit this morning as I figured if she didnt have it by 5 am she probably wouldnt foal. She likes night time to foal in.

I was so tempted to make Kyle get up but honestly I have been working his butt off during the day. He and Russ just fenced off another pasture and we have been bathing and clipping horses everyday. Still have to finish up today yuck

We all are gonna need a rest before star so she better get busy!

Well, Kay....if she doesn't foal by 10:30 tonight, YOU have to put all the names in a hat and draw out the winner AFTER she foals!

I think with as young as Kyle is....if I can pull an all nighter sewing and then still stay up and get my housework done and errands AND dinner on the table....I think he can stay up and watch HIS mare, right???

Im tellin him its his turn tonight LOL. I think I just get nervous letting a 17 year old be in charge. They are easily distracted lmbo. I have to say when Kenny is home he helps watch a lot as hes a night owl. But hes off on an Army mission and wont be back till the 20th. And we all know she will foal before then right??? :lol:

He took pity on me and fed for me. I feel like a slug or like I have a hangover. I have to get motivated and finish clipping show horses today. I really meant to finish last night but it was so hot and I was sooooo tired.

I cannot believe how well Joanne is coming around! Still having problems with KC. I may change my mind and keep Joanne and sell KC LOL.

That IS a bummer to have the hangover without the party :mrgreen: Hang in there Kay! We're all 'with' you! And I love the idea of Kyle doing the draw out of the hat! AND I agree with Terri - YOU hardly ever seem to have a break - get him in there cleaning, at his age he should be able to go DAYS without sleep! :lol:
