Yup, it's back and she's standing there again!

I'm trying to find cheap fair from Cairns, AU to Brisbane, AU, but everything I find is about $1100 US for the 3 of us. It's only a 3 hour flight! Sheesh!

Trains cost alot there. have checked that out already.
What I need to do is to go to the Ticket place here on base and see if they can give me a 'round about" price. I'm sure they could ticket us into Brisbane, but you never know. Those people are a pain to deal with sometimes.

No, I can only get a round about price.
We aren't paying for the tickets. The Navy will be.
It falls under COTS (continuous overseas tour "something).
It gives us tickets to fly back to where Bill reinlisted (home of record) for all of us. If we want to go somewhere different, we just tell them. If the price is MORE, then we pay the difference. I'm trying to figure out HOW MUCH more it would be so I can adjust the money aspect.

HA!! I think I got it!
According to Continental's website. A ticket from Guam to Cairns, AU is $740/person. A ticket from Guam to Tulsa, OK is $1490/person. So...I'm HOPING that is what the Navy will be paying so we just MIGHT get our entire flight from Guam to Brisbane paid for. That would be awesome!!
