22 years ago that entire mountain went up in smoke. Unless it crosses the highway we are safe. Filled up the tank on the pick up, just in case.

How did I miss that there was a new one down there? I have a friend in SV, and have gone to a camp near there. In fact, our church kids go to camp down there.

This is exactly what my dh feared earlier this year.

The fire jumped the highway last night and we are prepared to evacuate if given the order. It is about 5 miles from our house and had grown to abt 4600 acres, 0% containment.
