Although most of the fires that were around us weren't caused by people, people are the main cause of fires, but unfortunately until the laws and the enforcement of them are made to actually punish the arsonists, killers, and other criminals, instead of punishing the victims, it's not going to get any better.

Enough laws are on the books - important thing is they are not enforced and judges are to easy on the ones that do get caught. Lot of forest fires are from the failure of State, Fed.s whomever from cleaning up dead trees and brush. I think some is population control. A real shame.

People need to think........some don't.
A house burnt to the ground yesterday about 45 minutes North of us.
And it was totally preventable. They disposed of some ashes from a barbeque grill in a PLASTIC trashcan!!
