CSI or Bones..Where are they when they are needed.....25 yrs before releasing a vital clue......using social media "now" popularity seems lame to me.... We did have newspapers/tv. 25 yrs ago! Wonder why the family did not insist on better release of info then or sooner. Many questions.........

Wouldn't that be great if the QB was helpful in finding the maker of this quilt and perhaps leading to the perpetrator of the crime. Not meaning the quilter would necessarily be that guilty one. Poor family, all these years with no mom and no answers.

I disagree, while it is just squares, the fabrics are quite unique. If I had made that quilt I would remember it.

I thought the fabrics looked like a Hawaiian print myself, and was maybe made by a "beginner" quilter. My first efforts were this same simple pattern and were given as gifts. I sincerely hope that the posting here helps to locate the maker and that it had been gifted.

I agree with the others who think some of the fabrics look like Hawaiian prints.

I am going to Email the DA with some questions
    regarding this quilt:
    1. Is it hand or machine pieced?
    2. Is it hand quilted or is it tied?
    3. Can you post a picture of the back of the quilt?

Any of you have additional questions?

Yes....ask to identify the fabric..some of it looks like deco prints....have they done any DNA on it?

Maybe an archivist could "date" the fabric.....there must be " clues" imbedded in the woven fabric.....
