There are 3 weekends where the National Park Service is offering FREE admission to the parks that CHARGE.
Those of you who are close enough or traveling nearby, take advantage of this!

It was just in our newspaper today that the price of getting in to National Parks is going up. First free a couple of weekends then the big whammy.

I know you can buy a yearly pass that will cover most of the National Parks. I bought one years ago when my oldest lived in South Dakota. She loved going up to Mt Rushmore, so this saved her a ton of money.
They also have the Eagle Pass for those youngsters over the age of 60 (I think that's the age) so you can get in free too.

That is good news, but my hubby gets in free all the time at all the parks. When you get old enough for the Pass for a onetime fee of maybe $10, you can get in free too. When we took our German friends to one park and got us all in free, they tried to get a pass too. LOL
