My daughter would take the dog any day. She lost her dog last year. He was so big little kids could ride him... and he was gentle enough to let them do it. We miss him a lot. (But I don't miss the bill for his food!)

The house down the street from me had two Mastiffs she said they are so gentle.

Yes they are-a gentle giant. One of the best breeds of dog out there.

I think I might go into business renting him out to crime and drug ridden areas. Once he cleans up (eats) one neighborhood-full of criminals, move him on to another. Sounds like a good plan to me!

lol! love big dogs here too. We have a pyr and while he's not that big he's pretty good at keeping the riff raff away.

I so love the big dogs...and the little ones! ;)

It's so sad that dogs like these have such short life spans... :(
