I don't know if this is nationwide or just regional, or just at Super Wal-marts, or just at the Anaheim, CA Wal-mart I went to today, but in the detergents section, they were giving out free goodie bags.

They contain:

1 packet of Gain lavender laundry detergent
1 packet of Downey april fresh scent fabric softener
1 mini canister of Febreze Air Effects to Go
1 purse-sized packet of Puffs tissues
2 CoverGirl natureluxe foundation samples (1 aspen shade, 1 maple shade), with $1 and $3 off coupons
1 $1 off coupon for Pantene 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner

all in a little clear plastic bag with white handles that you could use again.

And I was thrilled to find that most of their grocery prices here in expensive SoCal were identical to those at home!

Haven't been in Wal-mart today but have never gotten anything free in Wal-mart.

My WM in Missouri did not have a hand out today, but last week they had activities and games for children as part of a grand opening somewhere else. My dgd won a cake in the cake walk.

When my oldest daughter got married money was really really tight and we couldnt afford to have a photographer. So I told my daughter and son in law that I will pay for pictures at Walmart. So after their wedding I drive myself to walmart and my son in law and daughter drive themselves. We get there and my son in law says "I forgot my wallet" so he leaves me and my daughter standing in front of walmart while he goes to get his wallet. This older man came up to us and said...I didn't know they sold brides at walmart....just as my son in law walked up. Was just too funny you had to beeeeeeeee there. lol
