I get these every summer and it drives me nuts. I can't leave fruit on the counter for a minute. I just hate anything that is not supposed to live in a house to try to move in. A tip that I got was to pour beer into a saucer or bowl and that would attract them and they would drown in the beer. It really did the trick.

I never tried that, but last year I had a problem with fruit gnats. I tried vinegar with limited success untill I added a little apple juice to it. That did the trick!!! :thumbup:
