i've discovered that the smoke alarm is a pretty good timer when i'm cooking. well, not so good for cake, but quite good when i'm searing meat. anyway, my husband knows i've made dinner when he comes in and his eyes burn, he can't see and there's a hi pitch whine in his ears. 8-) i love to eat out, don't you?
