We went from a double bed - to a queen size bed & now to a king size bed :hunf: :hunf: :hunf: :hunf:

There still isn't enough room for all of us

Think it might be better if hubby and I move down to the fur babies beds - they're empty and probably more room in them for us than our own bed!!

We used to have a small cat that would lay wrapped around my head at night kneading my hair. Now that she's gone, I don't let any of them in the bedroom at night. I still miss her purring and kneading.

I really had to laugh at the story. When we got our furbaby in January, my DH said no to her sleeping on the bed or even getting on the couch. So what happened ?? Well I am crowded out on the nights that he is home (as he works nights Tues-Saturday). She was supposed to be my dog, but ended up his babygirl, which really is fine, its teaching him patience! As all the dogs in the past were my furbabies, now its his turn. She sure has him wrapped around her little claw!LOL Man I so miss having the bed to myself !LOL

Boy can I relate. My DH and I have been married 33+ years and until 4 years ago NEVER let our dogs in bed with us. Now we have two fighting us for space. I wouldn't trade it for the world now.

My dog (avatar) does not come upstairs to the bedrooms and does not like to go the the basement, except to run down and remind my husband that it is 6:30 and time to go to the park...I could never have all that hair in my bed..drives me nuts as it is on the main floor...

Oh yes, sure can understand. We had one that slept under the covers between DH and me and every once in awhile furbaby would be soundly asleep when DH turned which then work furbaby with a start and she would voice her displeasure. DH said that one day he would have a hard time explaining to his buddies at the office just why he sat down gingerly! Fortunately he never had to.

Cute. We have our sweet, delicate Weebles (gray kitty) who is absolutely Daddy's princess. She sleeps on his legs and he lets her even though it keeps him awake at night. I keep telling him that he has to teach her that it isn't okay. She can sleep beside just fine with no sleep issues but no. He doesn't want to disturb his baby. He is a sweet, wonderful man who needs a good night's sleep.
