A ceiling fan’s direction in the summer should be rotating counter clockwise (when looking up at it) or forward to produce a Wind Chill effect by the downward airflow.

Yes! I can't even have mine on in the winter b/c I get cold!!
Even when it's the correct way.

Jean..there should be switch on the main section..it goes up or down..shut the fan off and back away from the fan, and circle around it till you see it.
