Back in the 80's, I worked for a photovoltaics company that was partly bought out by one of the big oil companies, that was considered to be one of the best companies to work for at the time - yeah, right. The other oil companies bought out the remaining top PV companies. Having seen first hand how they lied to their own employees, I wouldn't believe a single word any of the big oil companies said about anything.

we're all in this together! Hopefully we have enough stash to keep us going for a bit. We live out in the country and with gas prices, we, like many of you, plan every trip, including church! With not being able to afford to go anywhere, I should get plenty of quilt tops done and have the most beautiful yard (if the rain ever stops.)

Go to GasBuddy.com. Plug in your state, area, or city to see the gas prices from the last 6 years. Around here it was highest in August of 2008 at $4.12, then dropped to lowest in December of 2008 to $1.61. I just paid $3.56 per gallon today.How high is it per liter in European countries?

What is really sad is how the newspaper claimed that gas would be going down - hmmmmm the other day lowest around here was $3.77 a gal, that station is now at $3.83 with others down the road $3.85 and up for reg unleaded
