Boy! This brings back memories! I purchased one of these in Holland, MI in the late 70's. It didn't have the carvings at the top. The person at the store told me to burn the candle down just enough to make space for a tea light or votive candle. That way, you're saving the beautiful candle. Well, after many years and several chips, I started burning the candle. Can't believe I remembered all this! Thanks for the link.

that is awesome!!! I love these. When I lived in the city and used to go to the big craft shows, they always had these candle people there and they made dragon candles. I would save my money for them. The were so beautiful! :)

Gorgeous! We've bought them in Gatlinburg in the past. They have some really neat candle shops there. :)

I remember buying them back in the 70's in Sugar Loaf NY.

theres a guy at the flea mkt here that makes them the mushroomsa are about 5-7 and the other fancier start at 25, i just love them, agve them as gifts one year to everyone
