    Default Getting excited about the holidays...

    Thought I'd share a few pictures of the items I've made for a Christmas display at our loe alcal museum. Thread crochet is another "passion" of mine. The Santa sleigh was a challenge and I'm very excited about it's outcome. I can't wait to see all the different displays this year.

    Wow, what lovely work! My sis used to love crochet... I remember using a sugar/starch mixture to shape the rippled edges of some of her doilies.

    Beautiful designs and spectacular work! I have a crocheted angel that sat long enough that she needed cleaning up. Now how to "restarch" so she stands up again. What do you use for stiffening these items?
