This is just too funny! I get a massage every week and couldn't make it without them. I love my comforts. Makes it so much easier for this old body riddled with arthritis.

Agree that gift card to favorite dining out place would be great and also the gift basket with special things would be so very nice.

The gift card idea will always work. If you can't stand the thought of not having something to wrap, check out any local shop for something unique. Just a few things that come to mind are: Jams, honey, pickles of any kind, unique soaps or candles, something to display in the garden....it's amazing what's out there, in all kinds of shops, if you just take the time to look.
    Good luck!

There must be something that they don't have.

When Mom married her Bill, after dating for 20 years, we gave them new landscaping plants and porch furniture.

I agree...gift cards are perfect since they can pick what they need without waste.

Hi Pat, Pat here, what is the name of your Avatar? Is it a FLW pattern? If it is, it certainly looks easier than any FLW patterns I have.

All of the major movie theatres sell ticket packages. If they like going out, that might be something a little different than the many restaurant cards they are likely to get. I like the "something of the month club" thing also, but they tend to get rather pricey.

If these folks like arts, theatre, or some hobby, why not give a giftcard membership to attend a special event? Thinking about a yr membership to community theatre shows for a special date nite.

I like the idea of planting a special tree, bush or flower in their honor. Something to symbolize new life.

Or, why not do a giftcard to Home Depot or Loews? They might have some redecorating or home fixings to do.
