Going to calgary
#1
I'm going to Calgary soon for a wedding and then staying a few days to check out Banff and the area. The one thing I am really wanting to do and it's on my Bucket List is to do a zip line. Does anyone know if their is one. Also what else should be do and see?
Thanks,

It is a beautiful area. Banff and Lake Louise are touristy but gorgeous. We stayed at a B&B in Banff (Wit's End)and loved all the little shops in town. At Lake Louise we stayed at the Fairmont Chateu..just gorgeous. The only zip line in Canada that I know of is at Whistler (Vancouver area). Have a wonderful time. At the end of September we always see snow when we travel to the Calgary area. Check out the Calgary Tower, all the chocolatiers in the area are fun to visit. For a short visit a bus tour is always a good thing to learn a little history and at least get a look/see of lots of places.

There are some great quilt shops in Calgary to check out. Also a really great one in the town of Canmore that is on the way to Banff from Calgary. As for zip lines, I personally don't know of any but I would contact tourism in Banff as they may know. Also, I would check with the Canada Olympic Park in Calgary as they may have something or could tell you where you might be able to find one. I`d advise that you check into all this well before you get there.
Oh, I live about 2.5 hours drive away from Calgary so I get there occasionally to shop. If I can help any more, let me know.
