Congratulations!! I'm a veteran Grandma with 13 grandkids. Each one is special. When my first one was on the way, I told my kids we have to get this grandma job disription written down. They, as parents, get 2 AM feedings, screaming babies, teething, potty trainning and teenage angst. I, as Grandma, get hugs, kisses, rocking chair time, cookies, and playtime no matter what the age. This formula has worked well for me!! hahaha!

I LOVE!!! being a grandma! Lucky for me, the ones I have spoiled terribly, are such sweet loving kids. My kids know me so well, they just told me,"when they are with you, do what you want.LOL Nice that they gave me "permission". Like I said, theyr know me well!

Being a Grandma is a wonderful feeling. I just love it, I have two and can't seem to get enough of them. I am sure you will be making many wonderful quilts for him/her.
