So, I took a 6 week quilting class hoping to be able to make quilts for grand-children. Finished class the first week of November. Made my first quilt by myself for a great nephew. Soooo excited, cause I just found out my daughter and her husband are expecting. This will be my first. I think he/she will have many, many quilts. Already can't decide which one to make first.

Lucky you!!! I started quilting when my grandchildren were older!! (the youngest is 6 -- I've been quilting for 3 yrs). Now I have to make quilts for "older people".......and with 11 grandkids...that's a LOT! I COULD start making quilt for a great-grandchild -- OH PERISH THE THOUGHT!!!!!!

    Congratulations!
If I ever become a grandma, the first baby quilt is already put away. I did so much hand quilting on it I couldn't bear to give it away -- that was when DD was a teenager!
