So besides being into quilting i also am a Girl Scout troop co leader for my DD troop. Well cookies are in again so quilting is going to have to take a back seat for a little min...My DD decided to set her goal really high for a first time cookie saler...350 boxes...Mommy is going to be working her figures off helping her...wish me luck and keep me in your prayers..I have a feeling i am going to need both :D

Good luck! I remember in the olden days when I used to cart the cookies in a wagon around the neighborhood and sell them door to door. That is a time when we actually knew all our neighbors and felt safe doing so. Mom was right there waiting at the curb, though. Good times

I was "cookie mom" for my DD's girl scout troop one year. It was a lot of work sorting and delivering the orders, but alot of fun for the girls. Good luck and have fun!

One of our quilt guild members showed up at my door this afternoon with her granddaughter selling Girl Scout Cookies.
I'll be honest, I felt a little pressed into buying some.
Neither my husband or myself should be eating them so within 10 minutes of buying them I had given them away to neighbors.

I always try to get at least one box, i was a girl scout and it was a wonderful experience. Hard to find them tho, once in a while i luck out and run into them at a grocery store.

Oh, I remember those days, both when I was a girl scout and when I was the troop leader for my daughter's troop. I love the new lemonade cookies.
