I was a teacher and understand the kindness pupils can show staff.
We had just moved into a brand new school with packing boxes still about in some classrooms. I was teaching and thought the box was full , sat on it and fell in. The class was hilarious so was I. I thought they had kept it to themselves until 9 months later when they produced their leaving production and guess what they told everyone with a demonstration.

I agree with Jan. Get yourself tested to see what's going on. These could be hazardous to your health, because you could doze off while driving. Take care.

Many years ago, my DH, a sleep lab supervisor, made me go and get a sleep study because of my loud snoring. They found I woke up at least 450 times a night and had very little REM sleep! No wonder I was so tired at work. Needless to say, I have had a c-pap machine since. The difference is incredible.

Please get a sleep study! It could make a big difference in your quality of life!

Thanks to all, sorry I have not responded sooner. like I said, crasy busy at school, 1 and 1/2 days left till the children are done.
My 'sleep issues' are based on stress. After 7 years in this posistion I have not had my contract rewnewed, hence the insominia. I did see my Dr. and things are better.

By the way, after having a great laugh about this story I slept for 6 hours that night. Laughter is a good cure for sure!
