Well today I spent the day shifting things about in my studio. One of these days I will finally get things just right, or not. But I keep trying.
Tonight I will start working on my OS blocks. They will be a blue batik with a black background, to go with my lime green batik and black blocks.

May I ask. how does this work? do we meet once a week with progress report? Or?

California Mountains here. We had out "late August cold snap" fog, chilly wind, but it's back up to the mid-80's today.

I might quilt tonight - working on a baby quilt right now, but it's my youngest ds's 11th birthday...but the kids are all playing video games right now, so who know when we'll eat Birthday pie!

A lovely cool, but sunny Autumn Day here. However, you are all making me very jealous about the work you are doing. I cannot sew (hand or machine) at the moment as I am recovering from eye surgery.

These boards are my life line as I cannot read or watch TV either. Boredom set in last week and without being here - I can just about see the screen through 1 lens of my glasses, the other has been covered over.

It will be another 2 weeks before I can have new specs.

Thank you all so much for keeping me interested (and amused) with your talk of your families and projects.

Here in Arkansas it is still in the 90's and hopefully we will have rain this evening.
Went to a sewing class yesterday to make a lone star quilt. Cut out the first 1/4th of it, had it almost put together when I saw that I sewed one row of blocks backwards in order. Brought it home to rip out and start over.
Today will try to get my sewing areas cleaned enough to complete a baby quilt I am working on for a baby shower on the 12th. Then start hitting my UFO's before I start on something new on the 18th.

Send it on down to southern Indiana. We need it bad, bad, bad. None in sight so far today, just weak promises.

Hi, montana here--my GD is now living in Cork, Ireland. she loves it. what is a reversible scrappy quilt ?
I filled 5 cat pillows with scraps for the shelter. found 3 great kid fabrics at the thrift store, so into the washer. then think I will spend a couple of hours (after I get off this site !)
sorting some more of my scraps, etc. Have a quilting Buddy on the site so am going to pass on some scraps to her.
cool tonight--should be 32F. days are 70s, Fall is here. love it !!!
