OH M' GOSH!!!! It is terrible out this morning here in Eastern PA. Took the dogs out risking life and limb just to get out the door. Everything is a glaze of ice! Had to make new paths in the snow in order to walk without falling. Glad it is Saturday and I can just hang around and sew. No Waffle House today! We don't have them anyway, but we have a Happy Days Diner that has awesome breakfasts, went yesterday with my buddy, who is also my DDs MIL. Today it will be just toast and tea for me.

I was up early (4:30) so I've showered, had breakfast--toast/coffee, made vegetable soup for dinner and egg salad for lunch. Now I'm having my second cup of coffee and after this I'm going to work on my nine patch/hourglass quilt. The weather is not looking good; we're having freezing rain right now and then supposed to get 1-3" of snow.

Rained all night long.
Up at 8:30 AM,
To Denny's for pancakes (not suppose to eat them),
Gas for the car,
Grocery store for eggs (to make Deviled eggs),
Going to take a nap,
Will shower & dress, and
Going to a VFW dance & supper tonight.

Finished my Cream of Wheat, heading to do the dishes then it's downstairs to the sewing nook for as long as I can stretch it out....

No worries about dinner....Entree already done and just needs to be heated...then toss together a side dish and salad.
(if DH doesn't like my choice...the kitchen is open for his use. HA!)
