Default Good movie day today on TCM!

There were some good movies on TCM today to watch while I was quilting!

I watched "Inherit the Wind," "Some Like It Hot," ( the funniest movie EVER), "Around the World in 80 Days" and now "West Side Story" is on.

What did you watch on TV while you were quilting today?

I did watch ATW in 80 Days. Lots of fun cameos in that one.

when quilting, i have to have something mindless on... something that i don't have to pay attention to. usually it's reruns of a cop or csi show. or matlock.

TCM is the only cable channel I would pay money for. I watched "The Fortune Cookie" yesterday, hadn't seen that before.

I know what you mean. Law and Order runs all day, Saturday, in my sewing room ;-)

I don't have a TV in my room, but I do have my laptop. I have full series DVDs of old TV shows and usually put them on the computer. Oldies like Andy Griffith, Leave it to Beaver or I Love Lucy are my favourites. Sometimes it is nice jazz music too.

I have the complete series of Will & Grace which in my opinion was one of the funniest shows ever created. Yesterday I put one of the disks in my laptop then quilted and laughed most of the day!

I caught Some Like it Hot. I was surprised at Marilyn Monroe's dress-for 1959, it got by the sensors. or is that censors? anyway, it was something!!!

I watched a show called "The Originals" on PBS featuring several "special" New York City places, including New York's only quilt shop THE CITY QUILTER. My husband finally got to see why I rave about it. For those in the NYC area, it's being repeated on WNET/THIRTEEN: Friday, March 29 at 10:30 pm & Sunday, March 31 at 3pm. It's not often quilting is celebrated on television and this 7 or 8 minute segment had it all - quilts, fabrics, a quilt art gallery, color, excitement.
