My birthday was March 22 and as my gift 4 of my grandkids are here today cleaning up my back yard. Mandy, K.J., Boone and Brennan. They are cutting down some small trees, taking down an old dog run and raking leaves and taking it all to the curb for big trash day. It is looking so good. Of course, there is more than one days work to be done but it is still wonderful to get this done. I have a wonderful, loving, caring family. I am one lucky grandmother!

You have raised them right! You must have been an awesome mom to have had kids who raised your grands with good ethics!! It is wonderful to hear of kids who do things for you without any expectation of payment.

You are a terrific grandma! The proof is in your grands!

We reach an age when we don't need more material things and having children/grandchildren "help around the house" is truly the best gift. I started asking for this type of gift and now they come up with things to do on their own. Its wonderful isn't it.

You do have very thoughtful grandkids. Plus, the gift they are giving you is deeper from their hearts than anything they could buy. Wish more kids would think like that.
    Happy belated birthday.

Belated Happy Birthday! Those are the gifts I love. Every year when I order mulch my GKs come and help me spread it around. And when I offer to pay them, they always tell me that is not necessary. The 3 boys have been a big help over the years. The girls are willing; but the parents are not always cooperative.

    Great grandkids you have!!

We used to do the same for my hubby's grandma and continue the tradition for his mom. In a couple of weeks we will all get together to do spring work for her yard. It always ends up being alot of fun as well!:) (Water fights instead of washing windows!!)

Now that we are older, it is a blessing to have the kids and grands come around to help out.
