    Thanks for the warning. I will now watch especially carefully as the lupines are near a birch tree I'm nursing to adulthood.

    Be sure to post those pictures for Mamagus. That's a great question and I'm curious, too.

    Aphids are tiny bugs on the underside of leaves. The ones here are green. I have heard that ants "grow" them for food.

    wow! I have an uncle that went to horticulture school and loves pictures...he would be in hog heaven on this thread!!!
