I was a bit late for the start of the stories but I truly enjoyed reading them, and your necklaces are absolutely gorgeous!

What goes around, comes around. These were a huge hit back in the 80s when my daughter was in high school. I had girls at the house making them all the time. If I remember we used marbles with pony beads between them - not sure how wide the strips were cut.

Rosy, your thread is so much fun. I have thought for a long time how this site incapsulates our lives. The victories, the sadness and the day to day events. I can't help but think this is the modern day diary and in a hundred years will be chronicle of our time. Thank you for sharing your stories.

I agree Emma, I feel like I am having a bunch of friends to a chit chat. This is so enjoyable to me. Sometimes I am too busy and don't post but I always miss you guys and come back to chat. I don't do or ever did a diary or a journal. This is so much better and everyone has so much interesting stuff to share. It brings such a lovely commerady to the affair.

Last night I made up a cute little bat from a free pattern. This is the link for all sorts of freebies.

    http://www.clothdollconnection.com/FreePatterns.html

His name is Batty and here is his link..

I reduced him in half, going to wire his wings and wear him on my shoulder as a pin for Halloween. Halloween is such fun going to toward the fun and good side.....

I love your area, it looks so nice and shady. Wasn't this morning so nice and cool? I'm just north of you near Ocala. Enjoy your space and the critters!

Thank you Rosy for all your wonderful sharing of your private peaceful place, your ginger harvest, the star pillow and your Halloween companion's pattern. I really enjoyed your chat, it's a great way to start the week off. :-D :-D :-D
