True story Ninnie. If he isn't hiding he is literally under my feet for protection. He doesn't understand that I put Evil out on the porch in time out and he is safe for a while..

you really can't blame the poor thing after all he's tortured on a daily basis.
I had an old mama cat outside here, and had had her for years, One day this HUGE Tom showed up. He was so lovable, to everyone except my Mama Cat. I couldn't take it any longer and talked the boys and DH into hauling him to the camp ground thinking someone would take him home with them. Three days later, he was back, it was about 5 miles away. He showed up with a new attitude and left Mama Cat alone. He was the most loving cat we ever owned, a beautiful Persian and the only cat DH ever allowed in the House. He felt so guilty over taking the cat off, he swore he would never haul another away!  And he hasn't, we now have about 6 outside cats, all strays that have just shown up.We lost him about 5 years ago. DH felt so guilty for hauling him off, that cat was spoil t rotten, but if he had been mean to my old Mama Cat, I'd have done something else with him.

I think EVIL needs to meet a mean old tom once!

I hate to say it, as i don't like to see anything miss treated, but when they continually, bully...maybe if an old Tom came along, and whooped up on him, just enough...teach him a lesson.
Hey, you like roughing up, poor defenseless old kitties...how do you like this? bish boom bah?
now, go lay down and think about getting some more of that, if you don't leave him alone!
Old man needs a kitty-angel...Kw, guess that's you!
He needs more than one, though!

Yeah anymore this is generally my view when I am sitting here. Evil has been sprayed four times today already. once for eating a plant. That would not normally be a problem, but it is silk. I have not had real plants in the house for 19 years since the old man came to live with us.

Lemon juice can actually hurt the cat. Especially if it gets in their eyes.

My vet told me to just use plain water in water guns or spray bottles for the cats that are not cooperating. He said never to use anything else for fear that it could get into their eyes.

I saw that too, Ninnie, but I agree with Terri. We want to 'teach' the young-un, not hurt him. Hey, bet a visit from Mortimer, would be enough to make Evil, stop and think...yeah, Mortimer can help, kw, with the angel thing! Yay! Morty to the rescue!!!!
