My son recently posted this on his Facebook. He was ouside when my 6 yo grandson and 4 yo granddaughter came flying around the corner on their bicycles. Conversation goes:

TJ: " Daddy, Daddy, Tyler Grace did something wrong!!"
Tyler Grace: "But, Daddy, TJ told me to do it!!"
TJ: "But Daddy, I told her not to listen to me"!!!!!

    *****
Both of the grandbabies have a few chores to do to earn points for a montly surprise.

Daddy to TJ: "Son, have you done your chores today?"

TJ calmly responds "Daddy, sometimes I like to do my chores and sometimes not. TODAY is a SOMETIMES NOT day!!!!!

Daddy has to leave room so he can burst out laughing!!

Nana loves it all....I told my son it is so much fun to watch "payback". LOL

Grandskids are sooo much fun..my little 4 yo DGS called me the other day to say "grandma, can pappa come over here and give daddo a whippin? He's back talking to Momma" *LOL* so he puts daddo on the phone and I had to tell him to knock it off or pappa was coming over to give him a whippin *L* kids are too funny.

We are much older then most parents around us with small kids so we hear these things with older ears but the words are from our own. One of our all time shiners was when our daughter's kindergarden teacher died unexpectedly. We went to pay our respects at the funeral home as did a lot of people. Our son who was only 2 asked a lot of questions about this all and seeing the teacher in the casket etc. As we were standing across the spanse of the funeral home viewing area, someone else stepped up to the casket. Without warning our 2 year called out to the viewers, " Hey, hey, that lady is dead!" Now I don't know if all of us were too stund to think or only a few heard it but needless to say it left us speachless- It certainly gave us a good excuse to cut out early though

The "SOMETIMES NOT day" reminds me of the time my mother told my sister's son to pick up his toys. He just leaned back in his chair and said, "Nah, you pick em up and I'll just watch you."
