Great Book to Read this Summer
I just finished reading The Great Alone, by Kristin Hannah. I am wary of fiction because most of it is so poorly written, but this book is a GEM! I got so hooked on it, I read most of it in one sitting! Your library should have it....

I just finished "Gather" by Ken Cadow, which was a finalist for the National Book Award. It's being marketed as a book for young adults, but I think adults will like it, too. I thought it was very well written, thoughtful, and exciting.

I read that last year. Hannah is a very prolific writer. I prefer suspense or mystery.
Flight of Cornelia Blackwood, An Ambush of Widows, The Next Time You See Me were recent reads. I mentioned to a friend that I was ready for something lighter, and she recommended "Lessons in Chemistry". I've invested enough time in it that I'm not giving up, but am not loving it.
Luckily, although the library here is tiny, we have a really good interlibrary loan system. Most current titles are available by request and come within a few days.
