Great Gift
I had a friend contact me and said she was downsizing and did I want any of her embroidery thread and some other items. I jumped at the chance. When I got there she told me to take any of the thread I wanted. I got two medium size boxes and a tote full of thread. There were about 50 of the 5000 yd. spools plus over 100 of the smaller 1000m spools. I think if I had bought these it would have been over $1,000 worth. Not all the spools were full but most were. I am definitely doing a happy dance. Now to figure out where I'm going to put it all. LOL I have enough thread to last more than a lifetime.

I was just reading advice on an embroidery site that said you can prolong the life of your thread by having a humidifier. I'm guessing dry air isn't a big problem in NC. They will probably be fine.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip. They seem to think they have humidity here but coming from FL humidity here is nothing. lol
