Follow up in a day or two with a phone call. You want to wait a day to give them time, but don't be patient. Sometimes it's the person who shows interest who gets the job.

Sorry to hear this. Hope all goes well with the interview. Olive Garden is one of my favorite places to eat. Love the Italian atmosphere, Zuppa (sausage/potatoe soup), and their Tiramisu is pretty good.

Look for any programs that you may qualify for. You've worked and paid your taxes. Take advantage of everything until something comes along. Good luck on the job prospect.

I feel for you. My hubby was laid off after 14 years in his place of employment. He is a skilled tradesman, pattern maker. There are so many PM's laid off from no work or the companies closing. He loves his skill and is now pursuing a position 2300 miles away from home. All we can do is pray that God will lead us in the right direction. I have noticed several of the eating places around our town is down. The only one that is going strong is McDonald's! LOL...The line to the window is always at the road. Just as bad inside. Good luck, prayers are with you....keep your chin up!
