Lynnie - I think the covers are really nice and I would be thrilled to receive one. I also think giving out different items is fine. Making 25 of anything is a lot of work, especially if the item is time consuming and/or frustrating to make.

thanks jlt, I think I will do that. I just looked at the list about 2 hrs ago. 3 of the people on the list, I've never seen. about 10 I only see at the parties. I was told that some women join to be a part of things and like having the lunches to go to, even though it's only a few times a year. One woman, doesn't even like to quilt!! What is she there for, I've asked. to go to lunch was the answer.

I do not like gift exchanges, because even if you put a dollar "limit" on the price of the gift, there is always someone who has to spend more and embarrass everyone else. We used to do a gift exchange at our neighborhood coffee group, but finally someone realized we were getting more stuff when most of us were trying to downsize our homes to have less things to dust. Now we just go out for dinner.
