I like your valances. I found that fabric at our local Wal Mart and made an apron with it.

OMG - that's what I forgot!!! The chocolate!!! LOL worked on the beaded hummingbird with girlfriend today. DH stayed outside working on the add-on, and she and I talked, gossiped, planned our next 100 stupid crafts to try out....it was a kick. Tomorrow we're going shopping (dr for her, so we're there, we'll shop)....Then I'll be back on kilter and finish the curtains. Have to finish them, company is coming Sunday!!!!

Sounds like you've worked out your Murphy's Law problems. The paint was a good idea. I once painted one strip in each Log Cabin block in an entire Queen-size quilt - but it was worth it. And much easier than ripping and resewing.
