My DH calls me to tell me that Jo-Ann's is going to finally open up in the mall, in the fall. He said all the "hate emails/bomb threats" (just teasing me as I did write several umm saracastic emails to them about pulling Jo-Ann's to the corporate office, every time I received a flyer from them) worked as Jo-Ann's is coming back into the mall.
They put quite a few people out of work, wonderful people who knew what they were doing-polite, helpful and just downright good people. Not to mention that alot of the seniors in this town depended on the sales for their cotton for quilts and those who come in from outlying areas to buy. I bought many many different things from Jo-Ann's when they were open besides my material for quilts or clothing.
I am doing the happy dance in my chair- the only reason I will have to go to the mall is Jo-Ann's and Orange Julius !LOL

I go very early in the AM to these types of stores, but I am glad its back. It will help the economy of the town for sure!!
Shopping online is great if that is your thing-I like to feel, touch and see what I am getting rather than waiting for it to arrive and not be what I wanted. I have always been that way, and that is my choice as is yours to shop online.
I am a firm believer in shopping at LQS, but sometimes one cannot find what they want there, so then Jo-Ann's or Hancock's may/maynot have what you want then its Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby.
A gal has to go where she can find what she wants when she wants it !LOL :)
