    I was told that different parts of a snapping turtle taste totally different. But, thanks I'll pass on that. But if a really experienced person would offer, I might try a little of that snapper.

    I'm sad for the turtle. I can't imagine eating one. But -- to each his/her own.

    I couldn't eat it either. My kids have three turtles. I did tease them and told them to name one of them "Soup" when they got them. ( they didn't)

    I have a hard enough time eating meat in general ;-) . I have disassociate myself that it was once a living animal.

    The way my kids love those turtles..I could never harm one and eat it....but I don't judge others ..to each their own.
