    that is exciting news. maybe you could find a dealership near by and take a lesson or two? My shop charges $25 per lesson; to me, it would be well worth it!

    Your son knew just the right person to take it to for an expert evaluation! Now get busy putting it through its paces so you can tell him the good, the bad, and the ugly. Bet its gonna be mostly (or all) good.

    Roberta is it a 6690 or a 9960. I just got the 9960 and sounds like this one. I absolutely love it. Am trying to get my sister to get the same one so we can help each other if we need to. I just opened the book that came with it, and one page at a time, threaded it, tried everything. It's really easy, and so much fun to have a machine that does everything I need.
